The questions senior leaders most often raise before beginning a private dialogue with the Institute.
I. About the Institute
Is Elevara a coaching service?
No. Elevara is a transformational institution. Coaching is one of many practices we draw upon — but the work is structural recalibration, not periodic conversation.
Who founded Elevara?
Elevara was founded in 2024 by a group of senior practitioners — former CEOs, board chairs, and developmental psychologists — to fill the category between elite business schools and executive coaching. We do not name individual founders in public communications, by design.
Where does the work happen?
In our offices in New York, London, and Singapore — and in select natural settings curated for the Verdant Retreat. We do not host programs in hotels.
II. Admission & Fit
How is admission decided?
Admission to every Elevara program is decided through a private dialogue with the Office of the Principal. Fit is mutual — we are looking for what will hold for twelve months and what will hold the cohort.
Do I have to be a CEO to join the Ascent Program?
Not necessarily. The Ascent Program is for sitting C-suite executives, founders, board chairs, and managing partners — leaders whose decisions shape consequential organizations. The criterion is responsibility and readiness, not title alone.
How small are the cohorts?
A private cohort of 8 leaders — never more, never less. Depth cannot be achieved at scale.
III. Format & Time
What is the time commitment?
The Ascent Program requires four quarterly intensives (3–4 days each) and a monthly cohort gathering. Between sessions, a sitting C-suite leader typically protects four hours per week for private work and reflection.
Can the engagement be done virtually?
In-person work is non-negotiable for the cohort intensives and the Verdant Retreat. The private dialogue with your Principal between intensives is virtual.
When do cohorts begin?
Two Ascent cohorts open each year — Northern Hemisphere spring and Southern Hemisphere autumn. The Verdant Retreat convenes twice annually. The Executive Elevation Intensive and Suite Alignment are scheduled with each leader.
IV. Confidentiality & Investment
How private is the engagement?
Radical confidentiality is one of our five core values. No client is named in public communications without written permission. Cohort conversations are governed by a written accord. The Office of the Principal is the only office that holds your file. Read the full Confidentiality Charter.
What is the investment?
Investment reflects the depth and duration of engagement and is discussed within the private dialogue. We do not publish pricing — and we do not negotiate it.
Is the engagement underwritten by the organization or the individual?
Both arrangements are common. For organizations investing in their senior leaders, we provide a formal proposal to the board or sponsor. For individuals, we maintain full confidentiality from the organization throughout.
