I · The Foundational Undertaking
Every leader who enters an Elevara program does so under the protection of this Charter. It is the inviolable basis on which senior leaders entrust their most consequential developmental work to the Institute. We hold that trust as sacred — not as a marketing claim, but as the operating principle of the entire Institute.
II · Identity
The Institute does not name, photograph, or attribute any leader in public communications without that leader's written permission, granted specifically for the use in question. Permission is opt-in; it is never assumed by participation. A leader may withdraw permission at any time, and any prior reference will be removed within fifteen business days.
III · Material
Reflections, assessments, written work, recorded sessions, and the substance of cohort dialogue are the property of the leader and are held in confidence by the Office of the Principal. Material is encrypted at rest, accessible only to the leader's named Principal, and is never used for marketing or instructional purposes outside the engagement that generated it.
IV · Organizations & Sponsors
Where a leader's engagement is underwritten by their organization, the Institute provides only the information specifically agreed in the engagement letter — typically a confirmation of attendance and a summary of program structure. The substance of the leader's developmental work is not shared with the organization in any form unless the leader directs it in writing.
This protection holds without exception. The Institute will decline any sponsorship arrangement that asks it to compromise.
V · The Cohort Accord
The Ascent Program and the Verdant Retreat convene leaders together. Cohort confidentiality is governed by a written accord countersigned by every participant at the opening intensive. Material shared in cohort sessions is held by the cohort alone. The accord survives the engagement; it is a lifetime undertaking.
VI · Conflicts of Interest
The Institute will not knowingly admit two leaders into the same cohort whose organizations are in direct competition. Where a conflict emerges during an engagement, the Office of the Principal will disclose it and resolve it in writing.
VII · Lawful Disclosure
The only circumstances in which the Institute may disclose program material without permission are where compelled by a court of competent jurisdiction, or where required to prevent imminent and serious harm. In any such circumstance, the leader is notified before disclosure wherever lawfully possible.
VIII · Beyond the Engagement
This Charter does not expire with the engagement. The Office of the Principal continues to hold every former leader's material under the same standard, in perpetuity, unless the leader directs otherwise.
Questions about this Charter, or any matter of confidentiality, are received in confidence by the Office of the Principal at contact@elevara.institute.
